Terms of service
These terms govern your use of Textly. By creating an account you agree to them.
Your account
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign in details secure. Accounts are reviewed before sending is enabled, and we may keep an account pending until that review is complete.
Consent and acceptable use
You may only message people who have agreed to receive correspondence from the sender. You confirm this for every send. You must not use Textly for scam, fraudulent, deceptive, harassing or otherwise unlawful messages.
- No impersonation of a business or person you are not entitled to represent.
- No messages that mislead recipients about who is contacting them or why.
- No content that is illegal under UK law.
Sender names
The sender name recipients see must be approved by Textly before use. We approve names to prevent impersonation and protect recipients. We may decline or withdraw a name at our discretion.
Twilio and delivery
Messages are delivered through Twilio. If you bring your own Twilio account you are responsible for your Twilio usage charges and for keeping that account in good standing. Delivery depends on carriers and is not guaranteed.
Platform fees
Use of Textly is subject to platform fees as described on our pricing page. Fees and plans may change with reasonable notice.
Suspension
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, sends abusive messages, or puts the platform or recipients at risk. We retain logs as described in our privacy policy.
Liability
Textly is provided on a reasonable efforts basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for messages you choose to send.
